Highlighted Publication
Three-dimensional transistor arrays for intra- and inter-cellular recording
In this publication, I engineered a scalable and customizable sensing platform to study electrophysiology of electrogenic cells (e.g., cardiomyocytes, neurons). I validated their function of recording action potentials by the gold-standard patch-clamping. For the first time, I demonstrated direct measurements of the intracellular action potentials conduction velocity within one cell. Additionally, the intracellular recording of cardiomyocytes in 3D cardiac muscle tissue constructs has been achieved. These results hold significant implications for fundamental electrophysiological studies and clinical disease treatments.
